LBT # 2 Integration

Lynn Kot (seated) and Robert Lopez work on calibrating the LBT Calibration stand. This equipment is used to calibrate the primary mirror support actuators in the mirror cell.
From left; Mark Sullivan, Jude Schaffner, Leslie Utley, Steve Warner and Robert Stickney work on the test setup for the new Swingarm Profilometer. When complete, this equipment will measure the secondary mirrors as they sit on their polishing machines, improving the workflow through the Lab. It is capable of measuring to .1 microns accuracy.
